穴義

陷，凹陷；谷，山谷。
谷，指體表凹陷。
穴在第二、三足蹠骨間隙凹陷中。

Meaning

Xian, depression; gu, valley.
Gu implies a depression on the body surface.
The point is in the depression between the second and third metatarsal bones.

定位

足背二、三跖趾關節(jié)后凹陷中。

Location

in the depression distal to the junction of 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones.

主治

面部浮腫，腹痛腸鳴，足背痛。

Indication

facial edema, abdominal pain, borborygmus, pain in the instep.

針法

直刺0.5-1寸。

Method

perpendicularly 0.5-1cun.
