Main Manifestations Hiccup is low and weak, lassitude, emaciation, light tongue proper, enlarged tongue with dental indentations, thready, weak and irregularly intermittent pulse. |
治法
取胃經(jīng)及有關(guān)腧穴為主。食積氣滯者,針刺用瀉法;胃寒則針灸并施;胃氣衰敗則用重灸,以和胃、降逆、平呃。

Treatment Select the points of the Stomach meridian and some other related points as the principal points. Reducing manipulation is applied for retention of food and stagnation of Qi while both acupuncture and moxibustion are used for cold in the stomach. Heavy moxibustion is applied for the decline of stomach-Qi to pacify the stomach, facilitate the descent of Qi and check hiccup.
